Lila believes that everything is there for us to observe, embrace and experience. Through her art, she explores the way her personal life connects with her surrounding images creating a new language of expression.

Her technique of cutting and pasting paper, before printing it and enlarging it on a new surface, refers to Dadaist and Constructivist collages and photomontages of contemporary art.

She frequently experiments with the eye motif bringing to mind the contemporary discussion about the gaze, voyeurism and surveillance. At the same time the eye represents her viewers. The eye motif is an invitation to engage with her collages. She is inspired by learning how people interpret and relate to her narratives.
